This highly functional forms consists of a very stylish Tin shrouded heavy cast Aluminum spotlight fixture that is supported by an articulating thumb screw base joint, suspended dome via an extendable 2 section telescoping rod which holds firmly in any position, atop a collapsable heavy duty 3 armed tripod rolling base... all very well engineered and assembled. This rare early styled Industrial lamp is completely original and unmolested aside from the rewired power cord update. I have handled many similar early studio spotlights over many decades and have never seen such a usable, functional design as this with its unique collapsable/portable design and sublime fine condition (typically they are just too BIG to use in a home)...it just doesn't get any better!
