A stylish mid-century modern teak side table featuring a beautifully understated design, warm wood tones and distinctive black metal Sputnik-style legs. Dating to approximately the 1960s, this compact vintage table combines a richly coloured teak-effect wood top with contrasting black metal supports, creating a striking example of minimalist mid-century furniture. The rectangular tabletop features softly rounded corners, a slim profile and an attractive reddish-brown finish that highlights the natural-looking grain. Supported by four slender, angled black metal legs with circular metal feet, the table has a light, architectural appearance characteristic of the period. Its compact proportions make it particularly versatile, functioning equally well as a small coffee table, occasional table, bedside table or sofa-side table. At just 60 cm wide and 30 cm deep, this piece is particularly suited to smaller living rooms, compact London apartments and interiors where space is at a premium. A charming and practical example of vintage mid-century furniture, combining simple modernist styling with everyday functionality.
