A set of twelve empire/neoclassical style armchairs in solid oak, displaying a golden honey patina from age.
the curved, gondola-shaped backrest is centered by a fan-shaped upright carved in relief. The armrests curve into volutes ending in carved rosettes, resting on console-shaped supports. The slightly trapezoidal seat, with a rounded apron at the back, is upholstered in a brick-red and white striped fabric in the directoire-empire style. The front legs are square with a slight curve; the rear legs are saber-shaped, typical of the empire style. Some natural cracks in the wood and a patina from use attest to the age of the piece, without significant depreciation. The fabric can be replaced upon request by the seller's workshop. Overall, very good condition.
dimensions per armchair: h. 81 cm × w. 62 cm × d. 52 cm – seat height: 47 cm – weight: 10 kg.
