Its key feature is the reversible top: one side painted slate gray, the other in light wood. It can be flipped to suit the room or your mood.

The base is straightforward, with squared legs joined to the crossbars by visible dowels. The top simply slides into the frame.

It retains its original patina, and the pine has acquired a honey hue over the years.

Low and compact, it fits perfectly in front of a sofa or between two armchairs, even in a small living room.
