Dutch sideboard from the second half of the 19th century. This piece features two doors and a carved drawer, crafted from mahogany and mahogany burl. It has beautiful proportions, making it a versatile addition to various spaces within the home.
The sideboard comes with a functional key. The wooden top shows some signs of wear consistent with its age. The top previously supported a hutch or superstructure, now missing, which left a recessed area at the rear.
The interior includes one shelf in addition to the base. The exterior is adorned with twisted half-columns along the front and sides.
There is a small loss to the wooden trim at the back of the top surface, a result of the missing superstructure.
Sound and solid, the piece is in fair condition.
