Set of two large and rare wall lamps produced in the 1970s by Poliarte, designed by Albano Poli.
Highly decorative objects of excellent construction quality. Entirely handmade.
The frame is made of forged iron and painted gold with chiselled glass shades, shaped like gems and set into the frame.
In excellent vintage condition, dismantled from an important Venetian villa that also featured large stained-glass windows reminiscent of sconces.
The electrical system has been overhauled and is in perfect working order. Each lamp uses two large E27 bulbs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
