A massive and sculpturally sensual hand blown thick Murano Art Glass Blenko style form with Brass hardware table lamp designed … Read more A massive and sculpturally sensual hand blown thick Murano Art Glass Blenko style form with Brass hardware table lamp designed and manufactured by Marbro lighting circa 1960's. Comprised of a thick deep Ultramarine colored transparent Art glass body that was created by Murano studios in Italy specifically for Marbro lighting creations and is quite similar to the Blenko blown art glass of the same period but is much thicker glass with more intense color than typical Blenko pieces. Supported by a hefty Gold Leafed Wood platform and further accentuated with brilliant solid satin Brass hardware throughout. The pictures don't really do justice to how brilliant the Murano glass is viewed first-hand. Contrasted with its' original Brass hardware, all completely well engineered and crafted bearing only typical small imperfections inherent in the glass blowing manufacturing process. See less

CONDITION: This impressive table lamp is in sublime exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Very little signs of usage wear or age overall to the Glass body or original Brass finishes with just light tarnish patina while the glass is perfectly clean with no blemish. The Gold leafed finish wood base is equally as clean with just some light edge chips around the very bottom circumference. The original twin pull chain sockets & wiring have all been inspected & tested to be clean, safe and functional. DIMENSIONS: This lamp is very large and fairly heavy (8 lbs.) with overall general dimensions of 10" wide max. X 40" high.
