It's time for a garden party! Pair of tall C.1980 off-white Chinese ceramic obelisks with hand applied ivy vines in emerald green. The architectural shape of the obelisks is reminiscent of garden structures and the overall aesthetic of the design has a Palm Beach or Chinoiserie style. The base is lined with felt and each obelisk is labeled with a manufacturer's mark.
Both obelisks are in very good condition...no breaks, cracks, chips or repairs. The craquelure glaze appears to be by design and each obelisk has some yellowing to the finish at the seams which also may be designed to provide the pieces an antiqued look.
Each obelisk measures 18.25" tall x 4.25" wide x 4.25" deep at the base.
