This exceptional set of six rosewood dining chairs by Niels Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik combines two of the designer’s most iconic models: the Model 55 armchairs and Model 71 side chairs. Executed in rich, beautifully grained rosewood, the chairs feature Møller’s signature sculptural backs with gently curved top rails and elegantly tapered legs that exemplify the refined elegance of Danish Modern design.

- This stunning set of Møller Model #55 and #71 dining chairs has recently undergone a complete and transformative restoration process … moreThis stunning set of Møller Model #55 and #71 dining chairs has recently undergone a complete and transformative restoration process and the results speak for themselves! The mix of solid and veneered Brazilian rosewood frames and legs have been hand-sanded and refinished with only minor signs of vintage wear present as well as veneer repairs to the backs of the chairs which can be seen clearly in the detail photos provided. The seats have been re-strapped and reupholstered in a rich, thick-cut genuine leather hide in a fabulous hazelnut brown tone perfectly off-setting the natural wood tones of the solid rosewood frames. The leather shows only the wear of a once living animal such as ranch brands, scars, etc. This bespoke, custom-designed and hand-restored set is incredibly comfortable, structurally solid and ready for a literal lifetime more of use.
