The six pierced carvings — birds among foliage — are grouped in a balanced grid, casting delicate shadow patterns against the warm wood surface. A striking gallery-wall focal point for an entryway, above a console, or beside a sofa.

These are surviving architectural salvage pieces, originally corner ornaments from traditional Chinese timber structures. Each fragment retains traces of original gilding and a century of patina. The minor wear and variation are not flaws, but the fingerprints of history — a surface that cannot be replicated.

Dimensions: 35 cm W × 30 cm H per backplate; six fragments total. Backplates and hardware are new. Ready to hang. Displayed together as a pair, or separately as complementary accents.

This listing is for two independent wall sculptures, each with three antique fragments on a single backplate. One-of-a-kind set. See less
