Nestled therein are renderings of floral bouquets, roses, herdsmen, women, four-legged animals, birds, people atop elephants, and more. Main border in a similarly unique arabesque and Turtle Samovar dragon stylized interpretation from centuries old carpets. Colors and shades include: Ivory, dusty teal, sky blue, raspberry red, madder root red, pale coffee brown, dark jade green, denim blue, deep terracotta red, and more. Condition notes: Areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Ideally suited for a lower traffic area deeper inside the home or enjoyed as a display piece. A period correct painted rug in the rose red shades. Hard fold wear and stretching to the foundation down the horizontal middle region of the rug. Rug has some contouring. One end only partially secure. One area localized to the center is heavily worn approximately 1 x 1.
