This framed artwork features a large, richly decorated porcelain tile depicting a classic Buddhist scene, reminiscent of traditional Thangka paintings.
At the center sits a serene Buddha figure in the lotus position (meditating), wearing flowing golden robes and backed by a radiant, golden halo (mandorla). The background is an explosion of intricate, vibrant details—featuring heavenly palaces, pagodas, auspicious clouds, and a multitude of smaller deities, Bodhisattvas, and celestial beings gathered around the central figure in reverence. The tile is painted in a vibrant polychrome palette of blues, greens, golds, and reds. It is set within a sturdy, dark wood frame with a metal hanging loop at the top, ready to be displayed.
