A striking signed Vendôme figural insect brooch featuring a dramatic ruby-red Lucite body framed by sparkling clear and aurora borealis rhinestones. This dimensional fantasy beetle design showcases the high-quality construction and imaginative styling that made Vendôme, Coro's couture division, a favorite among costume jewelry collectors.
The brooch is crafted in bright silver-tone metal with rhinestone-tipped legs and antennae, colorful red, green, and amber rhinestone accents, and a substantial three-dimensional form. The reverse bears the signed Vendôme cartouche and retains a bright finish with secure rollover clasp.
An excellent addition to a collection of Vendôme, Coro, figural jewelry, insects, beetles, ladybugs, or mid-century costume jewelry.
