Elegant framed bookplate print titled “Hunting Ages” by celebrated Chinese-American artist Ting Shao Kuang (b. 1939), internationally recognized for his distinctive fusion of traditional Chinese artistic influences, Art Deco elegance, and contemporary figurative imagery.
The composition depicts a graceful female figure dressed in flowing blue and white garments, delicately holding a bird against a richly detailed background of deep green, black, and gold. Ting Shao Kuang's signature elongated forms, intricate linework, and harmonious color palette create a striking image with a serene, timeless quality.
The bookplate was sourced from The World of Ting Shao Kuang: Complete Works of Prints, 1986–2000, a Japanese-language art publication originally issued in 1997 and revised in 2000 by Gallery Enatsu / T.S.K. Fine Art Japan.
