An elegant pair of vintage Soviet trumpet-shaped bud vases, attributed to the Ilyich Factory (Завод имени И.И. Ильича) in Leningrad, now Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Believed to date from the 1960s–1970s, these striking vases embody the minimalist sophistication of mid-century modern design.
Each vase features a beautifully elongated, tapering trumpet form, gently flared opening, slender stepped stem and circular pedestal base. Their refined silhouettes and understated proportions create an elegant sculptural presence.
Believed to be crafted from silver-plated Melchior (copper-nickel alloy) and plated with 99% silver the vases display a naturally aged patina with warm metallic undertones, lending them distinctive vintage character.
The pieces bear stamped markings associated with their proposed Soviet manufacture.
