This distinctive piece combines elements of Surrealism, avant-garde design and mid-century decorative art, creating a statement mirror that is as much a work of wall sculpture as a functional furnishing.

The two beautifully modelled faces, finished in rich reddish-brown tones, feature serene expressions and closed eyes. Unlike conventional rigid relief sculptures, the faces have a soft, padded construction beneath their leather covering, giving them an unusual tactile quality.

The surrounding dark leather has been carefully shaped into sweeping, undulating folds that frame the irregular central mirror. The contrasting textures and colours create a dramatic, almost theatrical composition.
