Strongly attributed to the master designer Alfredo Barbini, this organic sculptural piece beautifully blends fluid biomorphic lines with complex traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques.

Design & Attributes
The heavy, triple-cased sommerso glass body is formed into a striking, freeform clamshell silhouette. The inner basin features a milky opaline white field enlivened by a precise matrix of bullicante controlled bubbles and shimmering inclusions of 24k yellow gold leaf dust (aventurine). The basin is encased within a thick layer of flawless clear crystal glass, creating a radiant pearlescent and iridescent depth when it catches the light. A versatile statement luxury accent, perfect as a vanity tray, vide-poche, or centerpiece bowl for Hollywood Regency, Mid-Century Modern, or Contemporary spaces.

Condition Notes
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, flea bites, cracks, or structural issues. The glass remains beautifully clear and bright. Light, age-appropriate shelf wear present on the polished flat base, consistent with age and authenticity. See less
