Incredible faux bois stool perfect for a low drink table, a stack of books, or just to put your feet up. I purchased this on an antique buying trip in Knoxville, TN.
The faux bois craft has roots in the Renaissance with trompe-l'œil. It was probably first crafted with concrete using an iron armature by garden craftsmen in France.
