The Reeves Desk Lamp is perfect blending of the past and the now. For
Goralnick’s expanded collection of task lighting for Currey, he looked to
industrial elements from the past. The scissor arm mechanism is inspired by
lighting that hung from the ceiling in factories. The form is both beautiful as
well as functional; it can easily move in and out and up and down.
Coupled with a smooth sculptural base, the scissor mechanism’s graceful
curves, and a beautiful, polished nickel finish, the pairing of the elegant and
the industrial results in this fixture that can be used in any location and with
any style of decor.
