the birds may have flown away, but the light remains.

perhaps it is the warmth of a mother's love.

perhaps it is the memory of a childhood home.

or perhaps it is the quiet belief that even after something beautiful has ended, life can surprise us with another beginning.

the light passes through the intricate wirework, casting delicate, wandering shadows across the circular surface and the surrounding wall.

the shadows become part of the sculpture, giving the branches an almost living presence.

what begins as a small wall light becomes an intimate landscape of memories, tenderness and hope.

woven by hand, as nature intended

every nest is individually created by hand.

the artisan patiently bends and intertwines strands of metallic wire, weaving them together until the delicate form of a nest gradually emerges.

no prefabricated basket. No identical industrial mould.

each curve, each crossing of the wire and each small irregularity carries the unmistakable character of human craftsmanship.

the branching forms are individually shaped, recalling the patient instinct of a bird gathering twigs to build its first home.

the rich bronze, copper and silver finishes interact with the warm light, revealing the depth and complexity of the handwoven structure.

behind the nest, the circular base is finished with carefully applied patinas that evoke the textures of aged earth, weathered stone and distant celestial landscapes.

genuine metallic leaf is used for the available gold and silver leaf finishes, rather than metallic-effect paint.

every variation in the patina makes the piece uniquely its own.

this is not simply a representation of a nest. It is a sculpture about everything a nest means.
