This impressive, extra-long (XL) mid-century modern sideboard is a rare icon of Belgian modernist design.

The furniture was designed in 1958 by Oswald Vermaercke for the renowned manufacturer V-Form (Petegem/Deinze). This specific model comes from the iconic ‘Paola’ series and is in truly exceptional, original condition. What makes this sideboard extra special is the rare and refined roller shutter system (portes à rideau / tambour doors). The beautifully ribbed doors slide smoothly away to the sides into the frame, a technical marvel of that era. In the center is an elegant horizontal slatted element with generous drawers. The original paper V-Form warranty certificate is still present on the back, guaranteeing the authenticity and historical value of this design piece.
