Pair of italian wall sconces dating from the 1950s, featuring curved brass arms, round brass wall plates and spherical opaline glass diffusers. Each globe is topped by a green lacquered element, creating a distinctive contrast between aged brass, green lacquer and satin white glass.
the gently arched structure gives these vintage wall lamps / appliqués a balanced mid-century modern profile, while the opaline glass globes provide a soft and diffused light.
the brass surfaces retain their original patina, with oxidation and tonal variations consistent with age. The green lacquer shows some localized wear and small losses on the inner side where the metal element rests against the glass; this is mainly noticeable on close inspection. The opaline glass globes are in good vintage condition.
fitted with standard e14 sockets
vintage original fixtures. Wired, functional, and in working condition. Suitable for use in europe and the us with appropriate bulbs, but not certified to current ul or other contemporary national standards. Professional installation recommended.
