Beautiful matching pair of antique Art Deco two-light ceiling fixtures, circa 1920s–1930s, featuring ornate cast metal bodies with decorative floral and geometric detailing and original-style amber-toned molded glass slip shades.
Each fixture features an elaborate decorative ceiling canopy, short stem, and sculptural metal body designed to accommodate two slip shades. The four included glass shades have attractive raised floral and scrolling designs, with softly frosted surfaces and warm amber coloration.
Approximate measurements of each fixture:
* Overall height: 15 1/2 inches
* Overall width: 12 inches
* Overall depth: 6 inches
* Glass slip shades: 9 inches long
Condition:
Antique condition with age-related wear, oxidation, discoloration, and patina to the metal surfaces.
All four glass slip shades are included. The shades exhibit some small nicks and chips along the concealed fitter edges where they rest in the metal holders. Please examine photographs for details.
Both fixtures have been partially rewired but are missing the insulating sleeves or insulators that surround the electrical sockets. The wiring has not been tested.
One fixture is missing its threaded mounting rod and ceiling mounting plate. The other retains mounting hardware as pictured.
These fixtures are being sold as found, untested, and in need of electrical inspection, completion, and possible rewiring before installation. Professional restoration and installation by a qualified electrician are recommended.
A wonderful matching pair of period Art Deco lighting fixtures, ideal for restoration of a 1920s or 1930s home, vintage architectural lighting collection, or period interior.
Sold together as a matching pair of two fixtures with four glass slip shades. Please review all photographs carefully for condition and included hardware.
