A striking collection of three vintage French sculptural decorative pieces, comprising two table lamps and a matching vase, featuring dramatic organic forms and vibrant, graduated colours.
This unusual coordinated set includes a blue and silver sculptural table lamp, a vivid red, orange and yellow table lamp, and a green and yellow decorative vase.
Each piece features beautifully flowing, folded forms resembling unfurling petals, flames or draped fabric. Their dramatic silhouettes create a wonderful sense of movement, while the softly blended colours enhance their sculptural appearance.
The two lamps are marked Les Éclarares and feature a maximum bulb rating of 40W. The accompanying vase has an opening at the top and bears a handwritten inscription underneath that appears to include the French words Fait main, meaning handmade.
The collection has a distinctive late-20th-century aesthetic, combining elements of Postmodern design, Organic Modernism and artistic sculptural lighting.
