Beautiful vintage Polish Baltic amber bracelet featuring six large egg yolk butterscotch amber cabochons set in handcrafted sterling silver.
This bracelet weighs a substantial 56.9 grams and is marked 925 sterling silver. Hallmarks include the Polish woman's head assay mark with the letter G for the Gdańsk assay office, along with maker's mark JM. Research indicates this hallmark style was used from 1986 onward.
The rich opaque amber displays the desirable egg yolk coloration prized by Baltic amber collectors. Large, well-matched cabochons are bezel set in sterling silver with a secure fold-over clasp and safety chain.
A striking statement piece with documented Polish origin from one of the world's most important amber-producing regions. Construction shows cast molding of stone settings with hand soldered link attachments and hand finishing. This is indicative of artisan craftsmanship and is not a mass production piece.
