A richly ornamented Italian Majolica centerpiece bowl by Agostinelli & Dal Prà of Nove, Italy, dating to circa 1920s–1930s.
The warm cream-colored ground provides a beautiful backdrop for the intricate pierced openwork, cobalt-blue hand-painted accents, and exuberant three-dimensional floral garlands. Sculpted roses and blossoms in pink, golden yellow, and blue mingle with richly modeled green foliage, creating a lively composition with the romantic character of Italian Rococo-inspired ceramics.
The underside bears a hand-painted blue comet-star mark and A/D monogram, together with an impressed “MADE IN ITALY” mark and mold letter “T.”
