The bottom is stamped: "Made in Japan." Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom including lid=6-1/2 inches, Width from handle to spout=9 inches, Depth from front to back=4-1/2 inches. Liquid capacity=4 cups. This marvelous tea pot has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent vintage condition. There is light tea staining on the inside bottom and a 1-1/4 by 1/4 inch chip on the inside of the lid, which looks like it fits the lid extensive to secure the lid to the pot, but it does not impact the beauty or usability of this lovely piece.
