A sculptural five-piece casual dining suite by Lee L. Woodard Sons in the highly collectible "Trianon" pattern, circa 1960s. Fabricated in Owosso, Michigan, this suite exhibits the exceptional ironwork Woodard is celebrated for, pairing robust hand-forged wrought iron frames with finely cast aluminum back splats featuring the neoclassical fruit basket and pineapple hospitality motif.
The suite includes two armchairs, two side chairs, and a central pedestal table base displaying dramatic acanthus-scroll legs. The table is fitted with a solid 50" × 30" rectangular clear safety glass top with eased rounded corners. Because the glass top is solid without an umbrella borehole, the set lends itself exquisitely to high-end indoor solariums, enclosed verandas, breakfast rooms, or sheltered loggias.
chairs retain the original manufacturer foil labels underneath the frames reading "Woodard – Lee L. Woodard Sons, Owosso, Mich." Fitted with tailored cream box-welted seat cushions.
