Measuring approximately 2 feet by 3 feet, the compact mat features a rich, deep cherry red field dense with scrolling floral sprays, stylized palmettes, and botanical tendrils. The center features a highly detailed floral medallion cluster, which is sharply framed by a multi-banded border including a dark midnight blue primary lane decorated with a repeating vine-and-blossom pattern. The close-up view of the underside highlights the heirloom-quality craftsmanship, revealing a very tight, double-warped construction with blue-dyed wool weft strands and cleanly wrapped selvedge cords that securely bind the outer red wool edges.
