A striking pair of elaborately carved wooden throne-style armchairs featuring dramatic Gothic Revival styling and exceptional decorative detail. These statement-making chairs showcase rich, dark reddish-brown wood, intricate openwork carving, and sculptural lion figures incorporated into the arms and front legs.
The towering, architectural backs feature ornate cresting with a crown-like finial, heraldic shield motifs, carved foliate scrollwork, and decorative spindles. Gray upholstery with an ivory floral, basket, and ribbon pattern provides a beautiful contrast to the richly detailed woodwork. The seats are finished with decorative nailhead trim.
