it captures the grace and abstraction of matisse’s late-period cut-outs, where the artist turned to scissors and color to create powerful silhouettes filled with movement and emotion.
rendered in vivid ultramarine blue, the figure is sculptural and fluid — a masterful balance of volume and negative space.
this version was hand-lithographed at atelier aloys litho, near paris, under the supervision of mario ferreri, one of france’s finest lithographers.
the work comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by mario ferreri, confirming its artisanal production and fidelity to the original.
this lithograph is posthumous, created in homage to matisse’s vision using traditional stone lithography techniques.
beautifully framed in a clean, contemporary black frame, this piece is ready to elevate any modern, minimalist, or art-collector's interior.
