Pair of teak chairs with curved backrests and seats reupholstered in washable ice gray fabric. Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Boltinge Stolefabrik, Denmark, 1960s.
Designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Boltinge Stolefabrik, these Danish chairs from the 1960s perfectly express the designer's exploration of lightweight structures and organic forms. The teak construction is characterized by tapered legs, contoured side joints, and a wide curved backrest that complements the seat. The seats have been completely reupholstered in washable ice gray fabric, a neutral shade that highlights the frame's design. Good condition. May show signs of wear.
