Hyper-realistic and striking, they look remarkably genuine—as if they were just extinguished—yet they are true pieces of fine art.

These unique objects were created using the traditional "per via di levare" (by subtraction) technique, carving away marble with hammer and chisel, balancing raw force with absolute precision. This is the exact sculptural philosophy famously championed by Michelangelo Buonarroti, who worked marble not by adding soft materials, but by "forging through subtraction"—attacking the stone block to forcefully unleash the artistic form hidden within.

Combining the prestige of classic Italian sculpture with the bold, witty aesthetics of Pop Art, Radical Design, and Trompe-l'œil, these sculptures elevate a discarded everyday object into a monumental miniature.
