Rare 19th-century shepherd's cupboard in natural wood (larch and chestnut).
This piece of folk art was originally designed for mountain chalets. Constructed of larch (renowned for its rot resistance) and chestnut, it comprises an upper section with two doors featuring beautiful ironwork and a lower section with open shelves.
The horizontal crossbeams are decorated with wave motifs.
In excellent condition, with its original raw patina and signs of age: cracks, old restorations, a replaced back panel in the upper section, and treated traces of woodworm.
