A French Midcentury gilt metal light fixture in the form of a radiant sunburst. The circular frame features finely cast rays of alternating lengths, creating a striking starburst silhouette that reflects the era’s fascination with sculptural, celestial-inspired design. At the center rests a circular frosted glass diffuser, subtly textured to cast a soft, even glow.
This versatile piece may be installed as a flush mount ceiling fixture or suspended on a short chain, depending on the desired effect. The warm gilt finish brings a touch of vintage glamour, pairing easily with both modern and traditional interiors. Its compact size makes it suitable for hallways, entryways, or powder rooms, as well as grouped in multiples for a dramatic ceiling arrangement.
The fixture has been professionally rewired for modern use. The silver-toned chain shown in photos is for display purposes only and can be replaced with a matching gilt chain upon installation.
