This is a striking and ornate "Money Tree" (also known as a wishing tree or treasure tree) sculpture, crafted from heavily gilded metal. The piece is designed to symbolize wealth, prosperity, and good fortune.
The tree features a thick, textured trunk that branches out into a dense canopy of hundreds of individually detailed, traditional gold ingots (yuanbao). The tree is "planted" in a bed of stacked gold coins, which rests atop a large, smooth, deep blue spherical base resembling lapis lazuli. This blue sphere is mounted on an ornate, pierced metal stand decorated with floral motifs and accented with small, bright red cabochons (resembling coral or rubies).
A recessed circular seal containing two characters is visible on the flat, gold-toned underside of the base. This substantial, eye-catching piece serves as a stunning decorative accent for a desk, shelf, or entryway console, bringing a touch of opulence and traditional symbolism to any space.

The gilded finish on the tree and coins is bright and largely intact, with some minor surface wear, small scuffs, and slight tarnishing in the deeper crevices, which adds depth to the sculpture. The blue spherical base has a high-gloss finish with some minor surface scratches visible. The red cabochons on the base appear intact. The recessed seal on the underside is clear. The structural integrity of the tree, including the dense canopy and the base, appears solid. Please review all photos carefully for a detailed view of the condition. less
