This is a striking and highly detailed cloisonné enamel teapot, featuring vibrant, raised imagery of a dragon in flight. The body is covered in a deep, textured royal blue enamel, heavily decorated with a dynamic, sculpted dragon in shades of green, gold, and brown, surrounded by stylized, swirling pink and gold clouds.
The teapot features a dark metal spout and an arched, polished metal overhead handle with a central pivot point. The domed lid is topped with a blue, bulbous finial and decorated with a golden, scalloped pattern on a red ground. The piece is finished with polished metal rims at the top and base.
On the flat, brushed metal underside of the base, there is a recessed square seal containing four characters. This eye-catching piece serves as a stunning decorative accent for a shelf or collector's display, or as a unique addition to a tea service collection.

The cloisonné enamel is vibrant and largely intact, with a smooth, glossy finish. There are minor surface scratches and slight wear visible on the polished metal spout, handle, and base, along with some natural patina and tarnishing typical of aged metal. The recessed seal on the base is clear. The interior of the teapot shows the natural, unglazed metal finish. The structural integrity of the teapot, lid, and handle appears solid. Please review all photos carefully for a detailed view of the condition. less
