This is a vintage pair of Lenox Ming P-16 footed teacups with two matching saucers, made in the USA. Colorful birds and flowering branches decorate ivory porcelain with intricate blue scrollwork and gold trim. Decoration inside the cups adds detail when viewed from above. A lovely choice for a traditional or chinoiserie tea table or china cabinet display. Includes two cups and two saucers, four pieces total.
Gold Lenox wreath backstamps are shown. These are the later gold-backstamp version of Ming; exact production years are unknown. Hand wash; do not microwave gold-trimmed pieces.
Approx. Size: Each cup is 2 1/8 inches high and approximately 4 inches across the rim, excluding the handle. Each saucer is approximately 5 1/2 inches across. Each cup sitting on its saucer measures 2 1/4 inches tall. The main dimensions describe one cup-and-saucer setting.
CONDITION: Good vintage preowned condition. No chips or cracks noted. Minor surface wear and light wear to the gold detailing may be present from age, use, and storage. Please review all photographs.
