She was a young girl when she was called a musical prodigy. As a talented musician she performed with well-known musicians. She emigrated to the US in 1917 to live with an uncle after father was killed during the Bolshevik Revolution. She went to France and later returned to the US to live in New York. She left for San Francisco and married Eddie Fisher and then moved to Los Angeles. Anya left behind many art pieces, including illustrated books and poems. This small piece on metallic paper is likely from her later years. Art size is 6”x5.75”. It’s a little gem for a spot on a small wall or with a gallery hanging of other art pieces. See less
