This is a beautiful antique victrola with mahogany cabine with the original finish in 9.5/10 condition that works well, cranks and spins well and plays well. I personally have had it in my collection and home for about 20-25 years.
The Victor-Victrola VV 4-7 is a premium small floor model acoustic phonograph introduced in the summer of 1926 by the Victor Talking Machine Company for $125.00. It features a mahogany cabinet, a folded exponential Orthophonic horn, an automatic brake, and nickel hardware.
• Production Years: 1926–1927 (with some units extending into 1928 under RCA management)
• Original Price: $125.00 for the acoustic model (an electric VE 4-7 version cost $35 extra)
• Design & Build: Lowboy console shape with a wooden case, measuring roughly 21.75 x 38 x 18.75 inches
• Audio Technology: Uses an Orthophonic internal folded horn system, offering much higher volume and richer sound clarity than pre-1925 acoustic machines
• Serial Numbers: Acoustic units ran from approximately serial number 511 to 78595 (estimated 65,000 to 78,000 made), while electric versions had a smaller run
**And, yes, I know I am listing this for an unbelievably low price but please know that its working condition and excellent physical shape are true. I, as a Chairish seller, am using the Chairish platform over the next 6 months or so for having my own personal Living Estate Sale. I have had this Victrola in my home for about 20 years. I desperately need to downsize and get a much smaller house and less land so that I can care for them properly. My wife once handled our Chairish sales but she had a bad stroke just under a year ago and she doesn't get around very well at all, even with a walker, and has aphasia so it is time to get rid of things so I can entertain selling my house and getting a smaller home. Thank you!

Left side lower support rail has a small amount of wood scraped but does not show scratches through it. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10 for condition, especially for its age. Well cared for over the years. less
