It is signed, wired, and ready to hang. The interesting thing about Frothie and Friskie, other than how it exudes happiness, is the technique used. On the white background I started with squeegeeing a few subtle shadows. Then I sprayed the red, yellow, and blue, splashing water on it while it was still wet. When the paint dried and I wiped the water away, the first layer of paint came back through. This painting was done during the height of the covid pandemic, and I think I wanted to focus on joy and love rather than the anxieties the times were conjuring. The primary colors and infusion of light, together with the animated elements, give Frothie and Friskie a playful, joyful character that will brighten up your environment and your mood. See less
