Soft pinks, lavender, ivory, powder blue and golden tones come together in a richly textured, Impressionist-inspired composition.

Expressive brushwork and generous applications of paint give the flowers a wonderful sense of movement and depth. A few scattered blooms in the foreground add a natural, informal touch, enhancing the painting's romantic French country-house appeal.

Presented in a substantial vintage wooden frame with dark mouldings and gilt detailing, the painting is a beautiful addition to a collected interior, whether displayed individually or as part of a gallery wall.

Signed in the lower right corner, possibly “Boucher,” although the artist's identity remains unconfirmed. A faint handwritten inscription on the reverse also appears on another floral painting in the Maison Lune Collection, presented in a closely matching frame. The two works make an attractive decorative pairing and are available separately.
