A distinctive antique European country walnut table with a beautifully worn surface and unexpected details. The elongated top features softly rounded ends and curved recesses along the sides, balanced by substantial turned legs. An inset brass bowl, two metal slots, and three drawers on one side gives this piece its unusual character.
This type of character aging is exceptionally common in dense European walnut furniture dating from the mid to late 19th century. A piece for those drawn to timeworn finishes and interiors collected over time.
