Created by a female artist from Long Island, New York, this expressive composition features a gently sloping hillside rendered in warm peach, blush pink, pale yellow, and sage green, contrasted by dark charcoal trees.

Loose, textured colored pencil strokes create a soft, pastel-like appearance, while simplified forms and atmospheric color give the landscape an impressionist-inspired quality. Scattered patches of coral and green vegetation add subtle movement and depth to the open hillside.

The artwork bears an artist's monogram or signature and an apparent 1980 date at the lower left. The artist's full identity remains unconfirmed.

Presented beneath glass with warm taupe double matting, a narrow gold accent border, and a coordinating gold-tone frame.

Framed dimensions: Approximately 22 × 17 inches]

With its soft pastel palette, expressive mark-making, and striking dark tree silhouettes, this original landscape complements traditional, cottage, modern farmhouse, and eclectic interiors.

NOTE: A coordinating 1980 landscape drawing by the same artist, featuring rolling green hills and a wooded valley, is available separately. See less
