Three elegant brass candlesticks, designed by Pierre Forssell for Skultuna. Narrow stems carry rounded candle holders with slightly flared edges and rest on flat, circular feet. The three heights create a nice rhythm when the candlesticks are placed together, while at the same time they work beautifully individually. The model is called Tulpan.
Pierre Forssell was a silversmith and designer and an employee designer at Skultuna Messingsbruk from 1955 to 1986. with his clean design language, he created several of the mill's well-known design classics. Skultuna was founded by Charles IX in 1607 and has a long tradition of manufacturing objects in brass.
The candlesticks are marked on the underside and come in a box with dark blue interior and transparent lid marked Skultuna Messingsbruk.

Condition
The candlesticks are straight and fine, without nicks or edge bumps. Not polished, with patina on the brass. Candle wax residue and some tarnish are present in the candle holders. Delivered in original box with dark blue interior and transparent lid. The packaging has scratches and wear. See pictures for a closer assessment. This piece has an attribution mark,
