Rare Antique Swedish Hand painted Basket, specifically from Delsbo, likely from the 19th Century.
Polychrome painted decoration. Up-curved handle.
This is a beautiful basket for display, but it does have some significant breakage and wear on the bottom inside especially. It also has broken staves though is still overall sturdy enough for display, also has some pieces of restoration and supplementation to make it sturdier.
Approximately 12.5 inches high including handle, and 11 inches wide.
