This vintage antique Art Deco modernist tabletop vanity mirror dates to the 1930s. The mirror features a heavy, expertly-crafted mixed-metal construction with a rectangular steel-framed mirror supported by two distinctive triangular bases formed from bent square metal bars. The geometric design combines clean, angular lines with softly rounded corners, reflecting the Bauhaus-influenced industrial modernism of the Machine Age. A tubular metal carrying handle with rounded end caps extends above the frame. The mirror is supported at a fixed backward angle by the two triangular side supports. Exposed slotted screws and precisely fitted metal components complement the industrial modernist design.
