The rug stands out for its rich ornamental decoration, colorfulness and elaborate composition inspired by traditional rug art. The dominant feature of the rug is a deep red field with a large, finely structured central medallion in creamy white, filled with a multitude of small stylized flowers, leaves and plant tendrils. The surrounding area is decorated with various floral motifs complemented by figurative depictions of birds with long tails. These decorative elements give the rug a distinctive character and refer to the traditional symbolism of gardens. A distinctive part of the composition are the dark blue corner fillings with stylized trees and animal motifs. The richly structured border is formed by several ornamental bands with floral flourishes, palmettes and geometric elements. The color scheme combines shades of crimson red, dark blue, light blue, cream, ochre yellow and green. The rug is made using the traditional hand-knotting technique with a density of approximately 90,000 knots per m². The wool pile creates a pleasant, soft surface, while the cotton warp ensures the strength and stability of the entire structure. The hand-crafted details of the reverse side and the ends of the shorter sides with cotton fringes also demonstrate the hand-craftedness.
