Created in 1957 by Brazilian designer Sergio Rodrigues, the Mole armchair has become one of the iconic pieces of 20th-century design, combining elegance, generous proportions, and exceptional comfort.
This vintage set, comprising the armchair and its footstool, has retained its solid jacaranda wood frame and original leather webbing. Its upholstery was fully restored in 2023 in sumptuous cognac Hermès leather, respecting the spirit of the original design.
An iconic object, steeped in history. But beyond its aesthetic qualities, this particular piece has a unique story.
For two years, it held pride of place on the set of the TV program "En aparté," in a set designed by its current owner. It hosted, among others, Julianne Moore and Naomi Campbell during their interviews. This piece has an attribution mark,
