An impressive cabinet dating from the 1920s, designed in the Gerstel-inspired Neo-Baroque style associated with high-quality Central European furniture of the interwar period.
The cabinet features a beautifully curved front, elaborate ornamental carvings and finely executed marquetry decorating the doors, side panels and top. Decorative metal fittings complement its richly detailed appearance.
Behind the double doors, the cabinet offers two internal shelves, while the upper section includes a drawer and a practical pull-out serving shelf.
The cabinet is preserved in very good original condition and has not undergone a complete modern restoration. It has been carefully cleaned, and its original French-polished finish has been professionally revived and polished, preserving the authentic patina and character of the original surface.
